New Student Orientation

Dear (New!) TSA Parents-

We are so looking forward to seeing everyone this Thursday for Orientation!

A few items to help ensure a successful experience-

We will conduct temperature checks upon arrival and masks will be required.  Any students exhibiting COVID-related symptoms and/or experiencing a temperature over 100 degrees will be taken to the nurse and sent home with their parent.

Both drop-off and pick-up will take place at the dock entrance (the same drop-off area utilized for Schedule Pickup).  Students will spend the day learning how to navigate the technology they will be using as TSA students.  iPads will be distributed at this time and we will walk students through all the nuances of the programs they will be expected to know.

Students may arrive as early as 7:30 am but please no later than 7:55 as everyone needs to be in their classrooms by 8:00.

We will dismiss everyone for lunch that will begin at the dock at approximately 11:30.  Lunch is provided with a slice of cheese pizza from Vitos, chips, an apple, and carrot sticks.  We will practice social distancing as we eat and there will be plenty of music to help usher in an awesome new school year!

Please make sure to pick up your student(s) no later than 12:00.  We have our new 7-12th grade students arriving at that time and will need to begin their orientation session.

Students will follow the same protocol of arriving at the dock entrance starting at 12:00.  Please plan on picking up no later than 3:00.

Finally, while we highly recommend students attend this session, if your student is unable to attend or if you prefer a virtual orientation, please let us know by completing the survey below and we will get in touch with you ASAP.

Note- please only complete this survey if you do not plan on attending

If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Morgan Ramsdell at mramsdell@ts4arts.org (for questions related to 6th grade student orientation) or Mark Allred at mallred@ts4arts.org (for questions related to 7-12 grade new student orientation) and they will provide any assistance you need regarding the plans for orientation.

See you all very soon!
