From the Director: September 1, 2020

Dear TSA Parents-

It’s been great to see everyone back- even in this unusual start to the school year!

I wanted to send an update from the Health Department as we move through this first quarter (and beyond).  We are required to report all confirmed, positive cases of students and staff even though we are starting the year with all-virtual instruction.  Please make sure to contact Mrs. Witt at nwitt@ts4arts.org for either a confirmed case, or a suspected case (as we are required to report those as well).

As a general reminder, if students are exhibiting symptoms that do not allow them to participate in class, or in isolation due to a positive test, please make sure to report the absence to Ms. Huss or Ms. Jones so we can accurately report attendance.  Please also make sure to include in your communication the student’s symptoms so we know if the absence is due to COVID or something else unrelated.

Amanda Jones- ajones@ts4arts.org

Beverly Huss- bhuss@ts4arts.org

If you have any additional questions related to COVID-19, reporting, or protocol, please visit the “Coronavirus Info” tab on the TSA homepage (https://ts4arts.org/covid-19/) or email Mrs. Witt.

Thank you all for helping to make this year successful!

Doug
