What Is An Art Attack?
An Art Attack is performance art that takes place in a public space that is a surprise to those that are witnessing it.
Pre-pandemic, TSA students would venture into downtown Toledo, and once to Franklin Park Mall, and present art attacks to our community. We would like to do it again.
That’s where you come in. We need your ideas. Your creativity. Your vision to bring back the Art Attack. Fill out the form below with your Art Attack ideas. Any chosen Art Attack will win a prize!
Thriller
Art Attack
Oct. 2009
Hundreds of TSA students entered Franklin Park Mall dressing and acting like zombies. Make up was carefully created by TSA students. The zombies lurched and rambled through the mall, although no brains were consumed, and eventually congregated in the food court for a choreographed dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
Pink Ribbon
Art Attack
Sept. 2009
The entire junior division wore pink, as well as the provided pink bandanas on their heads, in honor of Breast Cancer awareness. They silently marched to City Hall to create a perfect pink ribbon.
Avengers Assemble!
Art Attack
Sept. 2012
When TSA heard that comic book legend Stan Lee was scheduled to come speak at the Toledo Public Library, we planned an Art Attack to try and convince him to visit TSA. Unfortunately the visit was canceled due to his failing health, but the number of super heroes visiting the library that day was truly heroic!
