TSA Accepting Lottery Applications

Toledo School for the Arts Begins Accepting Applications for Enrollment Lottery

Toledo School for the Arts is pleased to announce the start to their lottery application season, with the online application for the 2020-2021 school year lottery becoming available this Friday, October 4, 2019.

TSA is an Ohio public charter school open to students entering grades 6 -12 and living in Ohio with enrollment done by lottery.  All students with lottery applications and all required checklist documentation items in and complete by Friday, January 31 at 3:00 p.m. will be eligible to qualify for and be included in the 2020-2021 school year lottery to be held Friday, February 28, 2020.  (Anyone applying or having missing supporting document checklist items after the January deadline will not qualify for the 2020-2021 school year lottery.)

The application process is completed online, and those interested should visit www.ts4arts.org for more information.  Questions about the lottery process should be directed to TSA’s Admissions Department at admissions@ts4arts.org or by calling 419-246-8732 x250.

On Friday, October 4, TSA will hold their regularly scheduled First Friday; a mini-open house with gallery openings, a performance of works in progress, and student ambassador-led school tours.  The event, which begins at 9am is free, open to the public and includes light breakfast refreshments. RSVP’s are recommended but not necessary at 419-246-8732 x221.

Prospective New Student Open House

TSA is open to any student who is an Ohio resident entering grades 6-12 during the 2020-2021 school year. TSA is tuition-free public charter school with enrollment done by lottery.  TSA invites all potential students to learn more about our unique, creative, excellent-rated educational environment featuring an arts integrated curriculum.  The Open House runs from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and provides opportunities to tour the school, meet the teachers and staff, converse with our Parents’ Organization, visit a Student Organization & Extracurricular fair, stop by our Lottery  Application Assistance area for lottery application and documentation uploading assistance, and view performances / participate in hands on activities representative of our artistic and academic disciplines. Hundreds of families visit this event each year.  Admission is not charged for this event.
