Flying Pig Arts Fest

Pigs Will Fly at Toledo School for the Arts’

Fifth Annual Flying Pig Arts Fest

Toledo School for the Arts as well as many local bands, artists, and vendors are getting ready to transform the parking lot and loading dock surrounding the school into a not-to-miss Arts Festival on Saturday, September 14. The gates will open 3:00pm with the first band hitting the stage shortly after. Bands  featured on the loading dock stage will include Glass City Groove, Glass Town, Human Juicebox, Madison Ave and many more. Each band performing has at least one member who is a staff or alum of TSA.

It’s not just music that will keep the parking lot hopping! Guests are invited to shop at vendors such as Culture Clash Records, Livie & Grace Designs, Boochy Mama’s Probiotic Tonic, Farrier Game Forge, and CJ’s Flying Circus. There will also be masterclasses in various art forms presented by some of Toledo’s favorite artists. Yusuf Lateef and Matt Taylor will be presenting a live painting demo. Jim Rich will do a small-scale metal sculpture welding demo. Tahsin Ali will present a masterclass on alcohol ink on ceramics.

This list of performers and vendors just scratches the surface of all that will be available to see and do! Bring the kids to the kids’ area for activities designed just for them.

Tickets for the event will be available in advance through the TSA Box Office, both online and at 419-246-8732 x226 or at the gate starting at 3pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students with a special All-Access Pass available for $35 each or $50 for two! TSA Alumni are encouraged to contact the school for a special alumni discount!
