Songs for Our Sister: Catch a Rising Star

On Sunday, January 19 Toledo School for the Arts will present Songs for Our Sister: Catch A Rising Star, a concert and fundraiser that supports the Mary Ann Russo Jazz Scholarship for Toledo School for the Arts students. The fund also provides a college scholarship for a graduating TSA Senior.

This year’s concert will feature 6 very talented vocal jazz students from the scholarship program, as well as performances by Ramona Collins, Lisa Young and Lori Lefevre. Music will be provided by Jeff Halsey, Ariel Kasler, Chris Buzzelli and Scott Kretzer.

The concert will take place Sunday, January 19, at 3pm in The Flying Pig Café, located in the Toledo School for the Arts, 333 14th Street.  Complimentary snacks and beverages will be offered, as well as a silent auction.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door prior to the performance, by calling 419-246-8732 x226, or online.
