Max Gierke (Nick Bottom) is excited to recreate his very real rivalry with Isaac Slater on stage, as they portray Nick Bottom and William Shakespeare. Max learned a lot through his roles as Marius Pontmercy and Leaf Coneybear, and is channeling his new passion of writing into his performance of a failing writer. He dedicates this show’s role to Mark Allred, the biggest inspiration for his performance. Shipoopi!
Trevor Gill-Snow (Nigel Bottom) Trevor is a senior this year and is excited to be doing such a fun show as his last fall musical! He enjoyed his time at TSA performing in Catch Me, Little Women and Les Mis, and choreographing Little Women and Spelling Bee. He is incredibly grateful to have been given such a welcoming school, such fun cast mates, and so many opportunities that the theatre department here has granted him. He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he has enjoyed being in it!
Isaac Slater (William Shakespeare) is a junior at Toledo School for the Arts. He is excited to perform in his all-time favorite show as his all-time favorite character. He has performed in many shows written by Shakespeare, such as Orsino in Twelfth Night, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, and Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew. He has previously performed with TSA as Barfeé in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and John Brooks in Little Women.
Gabe Omlor (Thomas Nostradamus) Gabriel is a junior at Toledo School for the Arts and is very excited to be playing the role of Nostradamus in Something Rotten. He majors in theater, with a focus in dance. Gabe was fortunate to play Chip in Spelling Bee and Enjolras in Les Miserables. Gabe is grateful to the staff and teachers for making this show possible this year. He is looking forward to the upcoming shows however they may be performed.
Lillian Buck (Bea) is a junior at Toledo School for the Arts where she studies musical theater. Some of her favorite roles include Olive Ostrovsky in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Amy March in Little Women at TSA, Small Allison in Fun Home, the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol at the Rep, Anna in Frozen Jr. and Young Violet in Violet at the Croswell. Lillian is so grateful for the cast and crew of Something Rotten and would like to thank you for supporting the arts and this amazing school during this time.
Ziyaan Nurruddin (Portia) is an upcoming junior musical theatre major at the Toledo School for the Arts, and is also a Senior Thespian. She has performed with TSA numerous times, including productions like Les Mis at The Performing Arts Center at Owens, Little Women at TSA’s very own Attic Theatre, Inherit the Wind at BGSU and many more! Ziyaan is very excited to have her first lead in a fall musical, and she cannot wait to indulge in the new experience!
Seth Crawford (Brother Jeremiah) is a sophomore this year at TSA. He is very excited to participate in his third high school fall musical this year and has had a blast with the challenge of an older character. Some of his favorite credits include Buddy The Elf in Elf, Carl Dad in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Male Ensemble/Constable/Marius Understudy in Les Miserables. He would like to thank his parents for rides and the support along with the wonderful and supportive cast that have really helped him play and develop the character of Brother Jeremiah.
Jack Moran (Shylock) is a junior at Toledo School for the Arts and is very excited to be a part of the show. Jack was a part of Les Miserables last year with TSA and is very excited to be back for another year. He enjoys spending his time doing theatre with his friends and spending time in the outdoors with his boyscout troop, as well as caddying at Inverness Country Club. He has been a part of many productions including Mamma Mia And Jesus Christ Superstar with Saint Ursula as well as Hello Dolly! with NDA, and Little Women with CTW.
Sid Grohowski (Lord Clapham/Master of the Justice) is a junior and a theater major at Toledo School for the Arts, and he is very excited to be performing in his third TSA musical. His past shows include Brundibar (Ensemble), and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Landscape Coneybear), both with TSA. He would like to thank his family for supporting him through everything, and his teachers and directors for all of the opportunities he’s been given.
Jalynn Crawford (Minstrel)- is a freshman and a musical theatre major at Toledo School For The Arts. This is her first musical with TSA. She was last seen in TSA’s opera, Brundibár (School Child) and Bedford Community Players production of Annie (Ensemble). Jalynn would like to thank Mrs. Lefevre, Ms. Dauel, and Ms. Reny for allowing her to showcase her talent and for all the hard work they put in to this wonderful show.
Katie Crawford (Tom Snout /Courtier/Thomas Dekker) is excited to be in her 7th show at TSA. Her favorite credits include 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne Schwartzandgrubenniere) and Brundibar (Annette). She’d like to thank all who have supported her throughout her high school years and she’d like to thank all first responders and health care workers for making it possible for her senior musical to be safely put on.
Walter Johnson (Robin/Ophelia/Queen) is a sophomore and choir major at Toledo School for the Arts. He is excited to be in his fourth production with TSA. Favorite credits include Elf Jr. (Walter Hobbs), Les Miserable (Joly), Anne of Green Gables (Jerry Buote) all with TSA. Walter would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him in everything he does.
Kate Habekost (Peter Quince/Courtier/Walter Raleigh) is a junior and a theatre major. She was last seen on stage as Marcy Park in TSA’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Some of her favorite past shows include TSA’s Les Misérables (Ensemble) and 3B Productions’ The Little Mermaid (Flounder). In the future, she hopes to do theatre professionally.
Christina Aricchi (Francis Flue) is a freshman at Toledo School for the Arts where she majors in musical theatre. She is excited for her fifth show at TSA. Some of her favorite shows include Miss Beth, Les Miserables, and Elf Jr. She would like to thank all of her friends and family for supporting her dreams.
Alexa Smith (Troupe/Horatio/Christopher Marlowe) is a senior theatre major at TSA. Her favorite credits include Little Women (Jo March), Les Misérables (Ensemble/Student), and even stage managing the middle school show Anne of Green Gables. Alexa would like to thank the cast and crew for working incredibly hard to make this production happen and Mrs. Lefevre for picking such a great show for her senior year!
Alyson Dominguez (Troupe / Footman/Thomas Middleton) is a sophomore at Toledo School for the Arts and is majoring in musical theatre. She is very excited to be in her sixth show with TSA. Some of her favorite credits include Anne of Green Gables (Prissy Andrews, Anne u/s), Elf Jr. (Deb, Jovie u/s), and Les Miserables (Gavroche’s Gang). She also loves to write and dance.
Mahaska Stiegler (Troupe/Francis Bacon) is a sophomore excited to be in her third show with TSA. Her favorite credits include Anne of Green Gables (Rachel Lynde) with TSA, as well as the upcoming And A Child Shall Lead (Miroslav) with Horizon Youth Theatre. She is also interested in music, especially playing the accordion.
Grace Vogt (Troupe/John Webster) is making her second debut in a high school musical at TSA. Some other shows she has been in include, Les Miserable and Witches, with TSA, and Mary Poppins Jr. and Alice in Wonderland Jr. with Waterville Playshop. This year at TSA she is majoring in Visual Arts and Photography. Some of her hobbies include painting, drawing, and playing with her two bunnies, Brownie and Moo Moo. She is so excited to get on stage and perform to everyone.
Darby Stevens (Troupe/Ben Johnson) is a senior who participates in theatre, steel pan, guitar, and video production. This is her fifth TSA theatrical performance. Some of her favorite shows have included Twelfth Night (Olivia), Les Miserables (Ensemble), and The Odd Couple (Swing), all with TSA. She’d like to thank her friends and family.
Claudia Arnold (Eyepatch Man/Foreman/Lead Man/Ensemble) is a senior, and this will be her fourth show with TSA. Some of her favorite credits include Catch Me if You Can (Ensemble), Les Miserables (Prostitute), both with TSA, Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer) with Saint Johns, and The Little Mermaid (Aquata/ Ariel u/s) with Children’s Theatre Workshop. She is so excited to be performing her last big musical at TSA!
Madysen Ashley (Astrologer/Ensemble) Is a sophomore majoring in musical theater at Toledo School for the Arts. A few previous roles at TSA include Les Mis (Ensemble), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marigold/Olive u/s), Elf Jr.(Sam) and most notably, But the Giraffe (Giraffe). She is excited to be in her second show during covid-19, as she was in the Rep’s production of The Crucible (Mercy Lewis). Madysen does a lot of shows at the Rep. Some other roles there include West Side Story (Velma), School House Rock (Soloist) and their upcoming production of In the Heights (Dancer) that was postponed due to covid.
Lilly Clements (Helena/Ensemble) is a freshman dance major at Toledo School for the Arts. She is excited to be making her debut in her first musical with TSA. Lilly is a competitive dancer with HVDC dance company and plays for the Northview Varsity golf team.
Ella Culbreath (Gypsy/Haggard Woman/Ensemble) is a junior pursuing costume design. She has been with TSA since her sixth grade year. Some show highlights are The Crucible as Ann Putnum, Annie Jr. as Grace Farrell, and many others. Ella would like to thank her friends and family for helping her follow her dreams.
Addie Cundiff (Valet/Ensemble) is a rising senior majoring in theater and elated to be cast in her first TSA production. She has also been in Frozen (Sven) for the Sylvania Arts Commission. Her hobbies not only include musical theater but also piano, dance, and visual arts. Addie would like to thank her teachers, friends, and family for supporting her and pushing her to be the best performer she could ever be.
Grace Dukes (Messenger/Ensemble) is a sophomore at Toledo School for the Arts. She is excited to be in her fourth show at TSA. Her favorite show she has been a part of was last years production of Les Misérables. She is thankful to her family for supporting her, and to her directors for helping her do what she loves.
Cassie Herrmann (Announcer/Waitress/Ensemble) is a Junior with a focus in musical theatre at Toledo School for the Arts and plans to study Pediatric Nursing after graduation. Her most memorable role was in The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor) with The Toledo Repertoire Theatre, which was performed this July to help bring theatre back during the pandemic. Cassie loves to be on stage and has also participated as a model for TSA’s Interwoven Musings and Kaleidoscope. She is incredibly thankful for this opportunity and is excited to bring this show to life.
Ally LaPlante (Psychic Woman/Ensemble ) is a Musical Theatre major this year. She is excited to be performing in Something Rotten with her friends and the new ones she’s made in the show. She’s an Advanced Orchestra student and in her free time likes to listen to music.
Meghan Mutscheller (Miranda/Ensemble) is a freshman at Toledo School for the Arts and is excited to be in her sixth show through TSA. She has been in Limitless three times, The Witches (Ensemble), and New Beginnings. Meghan will be majoring in dance this year at TSA and is dancing with Evolve Dance Company and The Ballet Theatre of Toledo outside of school. In Meghan’s free time she enjoys roller skating with her sister.
Katie Redd (Rosalind/Ensemble ) is a sophomore, and this is her third TSA fall musical. Her favorite performances with TSA include But the Giraffe (Little Girl/Eva), which was also in collaboration with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, Elf Jr. (Mathews, Emily Hobbs u/s), and The Music Man (Child/ Townsperson). She is very thankful for this opportunity and everyone who helped make it possible!
Grace Smith (Ensemble) is a junior and is excited to be in her second show at Toledo School for the Arts. Favorite credits include Footloose (Ensemble) with the Waterville Playhouse and Les Miserables (Ensemble) with TSA. She is a music major and has studied jazz with Kim Buehler and Elle Martin. She is thankful for all her supportive friends and family.
Morgan Baker (Dance Captain/Bard Dancer) is a senior at Toledo School for the Arts. This will be her second performance in TSA’s fall musical. In her seven years at TSA, she has performed in Limitless, Kaleidoscope, Catch Me If You Can, and many other performance opportunities. Through TSA she is an Ambassador, a member of the National Honors Society, and a Limitless Dance Company member. Outside of school she is part of youth organizations such as Toledo Excel Scholarship Program and Jack and Jill of America Inc., and is a senior company member at Company C Dance Club. Morgan is honored to be a Dance Captain for this year’s musical and can’t wait to perform her first, final show with all of her friends.
Britain Feeny (Dance Captain/Bard Dancer) is an incoming senior at TSA and has been a student here since sixth grade. She has been dancing for thirteen years total, and has been dancing at TSA under Alison Reny for six of those years. This is Britain’s second and final musical at TSA and she is so excited to be able to perform one last time with all of her friends and peers. Britain plans to further her dance training in college in hopes to follow her aspirations of living in New York City. She is so excited for you all to see what wonderful work, passion, and art happens at TSA!
Nia Fleming (Bard Dancer) is a freshman and a dance major at Toledo School for the Arts. This will be her debut musical theatre performance at TSA. While attending TSA, Nia’s favorite credits include Xhibit Oddities, Lights Camera Limitless, Kaleidoscope 2019, and the 2020 MLK Unity Celebration. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her passion and extend her appreciation to Mrs. Reny and Mrs. Lefevre for their wonderful guidance and direction.
Kara Hurst (Bard Dancer) is a sophomore and a dance major at Toledo School for the Arts. She is very excited to be making her first debut ever in a fall musical with Toledo School for the Arts. In past years she has been a part of the yearly dance show Limitless, directed by Alison Reny. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her and what she is passionate about.
Avery Miller (Bard Dancer) is a junior and a dance major at Toledo School for the Arts. She is excited to be in her first musical production with TSA. She has been a part of other shows like TSA’s production of Limitless (dancer) produced by Alison Reny. Sophia Shelton (Dance Captain/Dancer) is a senior majoring in dance at Toledo School for the Arts. She is excited to be performing in her third TSA musical and has enjoyed getting to be a part of these shows throughout her high school career. Sophia is grateful for all of the opportunities that TSA has given her and for all of the staff who have worked so hard to make it possible to perform a musical during this unpredictable time. Paige Britton (Period Dancer) is a sophomore at Toledo School for the Arts, majoring in dance. She is very excited to be performing in her first TSA musical. She has been in TSA’s dance show Limitless yearly since 6th grade. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for the support and thank her teachers for where she is today.
Kayleigh Jakob (Period Dancer) is a senior and a dance major at Toledo School for the Arts. This will be her second musical at TSA. Besides performing in the musicals, she has been a proud member of Limitless Dance Company for almost seven years now! She would like to thank her friends, family, and all of her dance teachers for helping her get this far and always supporting her!
Cecilia Monteiro (Period Dancer) is a senior and a dance major at Toledo School for the Arts. She is excited to be in her first musical with TSA. Riley Mutscheller (Period Dancer) is excited to be a part of her first musical at TSA. Riley is a junior dance major & has performed in Limitless, A Wilde Ride, New Beginnings and Kaleidoscope. Outside of school, Riley enjoys competing with Evolve Dance Co. & is a Company member with The Ballet Theatre of Toledo.
Sonia Ramirez (Period Dancer) is a senior at TSA and is very excited to be in her first and last TSA musical. Her one previous role was dance captain in Summerstock Toledo’s production of Big Fish. She would like to thank her cast mates for putting up with her, and for all of the laughs they share. Sonia hopes that you enjoy watching the show, and that it makes you smile in corona times.
Charli Waldon (Period Dancer) is a freshman dance major. Her first musical theatre debut occurred at the age of six in the production Barnum. The list goes on to include Annie, Footloose, Hairspray, and All That Jazz. Some of Charli’s favorite credits are A Wilde Canvas , Limitless Sculpted , Lights Camera Limitless, 2020 MLK Unity Celebration, BCSN All Stars and Kaleidoscope. Charli would like to thank her family, friends, TSA (for giving us some sense of normalcy while keeping us safe!) and a huge heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Reny and Mrs. Lefevre for making this unique experience so very AWESOME!
Kyle Johnson (Stage Manager) is a senior costume design and photography major. He's been in a few junior shows including Phantom Tollbooth and Little Prince. When he reached highs chool, he fell in love with the tech side of things, doing costume crew for Catch Me If You Can and Limitless. He would like to thank his mom for helping him with organizing and his friends for seeing the show.
