The Advanced Chorus at TSA is doing a curriculum project this year with Memory Lane Care Services on Reynolds Road.  Students are conducting a one-hour music activity once a month for clients of Memory Lane.  The activities include:  sing-alongs, mad lib song games, hand held instrument playing, and conversations about music.  Participants enjoy a time of making and listening to music, while students learn how music plays a role in therapeutic care and quality of life.  Students follow each session with a reflection exercise, an assessment of the effectiveness of the activities, and a brainstorming about the next month’s activities.
