Parents, grandparents and caregivers of students and alumni of Toledo School for the Arts are invited to belong to the Parents’ Organization. We support the school through volunteering, serving as a voice for parents, and providing grants to teachers and staff for special purchases and programs. Being involved lets us get to know other TSA families and faculty and staff. Our involvement gives us a better understanding of our children’s day-to-day life at school—and it helps keep the school strong.

BUILDING COMMUNITY
As a result of working together, we form friendships and foster a sense of community at the school. You do not need to be a member to attend meetings. Even if you cannot attend meetings, opportunities for involvement exist to fit every schedule.

FUNDING
Some things Parents’ Org has helped to provide:

  •  Power of the Pen state competitions
  • Microwaves for the cafeteria
  • Senior graduation signs
  • Staff appreciation luncheon
  • Staff appreciation gifts
  • After Prom
  • Refreshments for events
  • Student travel to arts events
  • Instrument repair and purchase
  • Quiz Bowl National competition
  • Memory Project (portrait painting for children in hardship)

WE WELCOME YOUR INVOLVEMENT!
Member dues are $20 for the entire school year, and are used to support grants and donations for the teachers. Members receive four tickets to any performance except Kaleidoscope (exclusions may apply; Parents’ Org reserves the right to modify member benefits as needed due to extraordinary circumstances.) Most families find that the money they save on tickets more than offsets the cost of the membership.

studentlounge

Members of the TSA Parent Organization meet in the Student Lounge, which they helped furnish and pay for.

Kroger Rewards

The Kroger Community Rewards Program works with your Kroger Plus Card and once you’ve registered and selected TSA Parents’ Org and enter our code “81876” as your designated organization, all you have to do is use your Kroger Plus Card whenever you shop at Kroger to help us earn money.

Box Tops For Education

Parents’ Org collects both paper and electronic Box Tops for Education. You can drop the paper Box Tops off in the office at any time, or bring them to a meeting. Electronic Box Tops are collected by scanning receipts via an App that can be downloaded from both the Apple and Android app stores.

Contact our current president, Manda Rice at 419-276-0131 or tsa.parent.org@gmail.com, with any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
