Dear TSA Community,
As of 3:30, March 16th
I would like to start this communication by recognizing the amazing faculty and staff we have at TSA! I have never been part of an organization that has come together in such a collaborative way- there is not a person in this building that does not have the best interest of our students and employees in mind.
A few updates to share-
We had an excellent virtual meeting with our teachers this morning in order to solidify our protocols for online instruction.
Students can begin expecting to access class material Tuesday, March 17th.
Students can expect approximately 3-3.5 hours of daily work collectively (across all subjects).
Students are asked to please check Schoology regularly for communication from teachers and administration.
A reminder that there will be no instruction Friday, March 20th as it is a previously scheduled day off.
A reminder to submit a request for technology assistance by emailing email@example.com and a technology representative will respond within 24 business hours.
For immediate technology assistance, please call 419-407-6742 and you will receive same-day response between 9-3, Monday-Friday. Any call received outside these hours will be answered within 24 business hours.
For now, we will continue to provide building access between 9-3, Monday-Friday. All visitors are asked to enter only through the main entrance. Visitors will be checked for temperature and given a brief health screening before entering.
Visitors to the school should be by appointment only.
Please call 419-246-8732 x422 for any questions.
Please see the following message from Mrs. Sass:
We have worked with our food service provider and have come up with a plan to provide lunch and breakfast for those of our students on free and reduced meal benefits. We will be offering a week’s worth (5 days) of lunches and breakfasts to each student, to be picked up on Thursdays from 11 am- noon in the visitor parking lot. This will be a drive-by pick up…..you will pull up and we will hand you the items to put in your car. This will minimize contact between us so as to comply with the Governor’s order of social distancing. If you have not already contacted us to receive these meals, please contact Sue Sass at firstname.lastname@example.org or 419-246-8732 ext. 229. Please also contact Mrs. Sass if you have transportation or time issues in being able to be at TSA on Thursdays.
This service will begin Thursday, March 19.
The United Way can also help you identify other locations providing meals to those in need- please see the link below for more information or text your zip code to 898-211.
Thank you to everyone again for your continued support and patience. We will continue to send further information as it is made available.
