Dear TSA Community-
As many of you have already heard, governor Mike DeWine directed all schools in Ohio to close, starting this Monday, March 16th for at least three weeks to slow the spread of coronavirus 19 (COVID-19). We also must recognize that the Governor could extend the duration of this closure.
Tomorrow, Friday March 13th, will be the final day for students. Faculty and staff will report on Monday, March 16th.
During the period of this closure, all school-sponsored events will be cancelled, including performances, field trips, special events, and rehearsals.
Please make sure students take home all essential items such as iPads, musical instruments, books, etc. If your child is absent tomorrow, please contact Ms. Huss or Mrs. Jones to arrange a time to pick them up.
Learning will continue to take place during this time but it will be very different. Details will be forthcoming regarding how and where to access classroom assignments, lectures and assessments.
We understand that there will be many questions, and over the course of the next several days we will be working hard to share answers as we have them. Our first priority is to ensure that essential services are provided to our students beyond just educational such as access to Wifi, school lunch availability, and mental and physical wellness.
I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we all work through this extraordinary circumstance. It is an honor for me to work with such dedicated and creative individuals at TSA and I have no doubt we will get through this!
