Dear TSA Families-

We are getting closer to the start of the school year! While this year will be different than anything we have done in the past, we are excited to see students and get back to doing what we do best!

A reminder that we will be hosting a Town Hall session on Tuesday, Aug. 25th to go over the expectations and format of our virtual instruction.  We will hold this session at 1:00 and it will be repeated at 7:00pm.  The Zoom link for these sessions was previously sent to your email.  We highly encourage all TSA families to attend as this will be important information to help ensure a successful start to the year.

We look forward to seeing all of you next week!

We are also sending a reminder about the very important New Student Orientation Day. This is essentially the first day of school for new students. There will be important instructions and help provided for setting up and using email, the iPad, submitting assignments, Schoology, PowerSchool, Notability and Zoom etc. Attendance will help ensure their success with the transition to TSA and with the move to virtual learning for the first quarter.

It will be in person and for students only.

Thursday, August 27th
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. WITH lunch provided – 6th grade
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. NO lunch provided – 7th – 12th grades

Things about orientation that you need to know:

  • Please do NOT come to TSA if your student(s) is/are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19
  • We will be taking everyone’s temperature prior to entry into the building
  • Masks will be required unless there has been previous medical documentation on file.
  • We will have students properly social distances while in the building.
