This weekend, TSA’s National Honor Society participated in “Clean Your Streams”! Clean Your Streams is a program where local groups get the opportunity to make a real, positive impact on the environment by removing miscellaneous trash from local bodies of water. NHS spent their weekend trekking through the waters of the Maumee River and filling trash bags to the brim with garbage from Blue Grass Island at Swan Creek Metropark. Overall, their organization collected over 200 pounds of litter – varying from opened beverage cans, shoes, fishing wire, and even parts of a boat! Congratulations NHS!
