November 17-19, 2018 TSA freshman Shakayla Waters attended the Monsters of Hip Hop convention in Chicago, IL along with Ms. Calhoun’s Intermediate Hip Hop class. There they took classes with professional choreographers and dancers such as Kassidy Bright, Kevin Maher, Luther Brown, Lluam, Jaquel Knight, Lyle Beniga, Ysabelle Capitulé, and Chonique Sneed. After auditioning with over 100 dancers from across the United States, Shakayla received a scholarship for a free week of classes at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, CA.
