Hello TSA Families!
I certainly hope this mailing finds you healthy and enjoying the summer! As usual we have an exciting year ahead of us, which starts with Schedule Pick-Up as listed below. Please review the contents of this letter, as well as the enclosed information packet, to ensure a smooth start to the new school year at TSA.
Orientation for all 6th graders will be Friday, August 17th. Students are to arrive at the dock entrance in the back of the school. Activities will begin promptly at 8:05am. Students may arrive as early as 7:30am. Lunch will be provided. Students must be picked up at the dock at 12:00 after the lunch period.
Orientation for all 7th – 12th grade new students will also be Friday August 17th. Students are to arrive at the dock entrance in the back of the school. Activities will begin promptly at 1:00pm. Students may arrive as early as 12:30pm. Students must be picked up at the dock entrance at 3:00pm.
The First Day of School for all students will be Monday, August 20th. Breakfast will be served in the Flying Pig from 7:30-7:55am. Students are expected to be in the classroom, ready for attendance to be taken at 8:05am. Regular dismissal will be at 3:00pm.
Schedule Pick-Up days are Wednesday, August 8 and Thursday August 9. Families are not assigned times- you are free to arrive at any point during the times established for those two days. You will enter at the dock entrance of the school and will be directed by TSA personnel. A PARENT or GUARDIAN MUST ACCOMPANY THEIR STUDENT(S).
Wednesday, August 8th 12pm – 2:30 and 3:30 – 6:00pm
Thursday, August 9th 9:00am – 11:00 and 12:00 – 3:00pm
It will take approximately two hours to complete the Schedule Pick-Up process, please plan accordingly for the following things:
Meet the Teacher Night will be held on Thursday, August 16th at 6:00pm. Parents and students should be in the student’s first period class promptly at 6pm and will follow the student’s class schedule (each period will consist of 15 minutes). This is a great night to meet teachers and become familiar with the student’s schedule, as well as the location of their locker and classrooms, but it is not required to attend.
