Tips For Testing

In an an effort to ensure success, we recommend that you prepare properly before test day. Ensure you get a good night of sleep, eat a healthy, balanced breakfast, and look over some tips for test taking. As this is a relatively new test, some of the information refers to previous years, but there are many good tips about testing in general available here.

State Testing Schedule

Please take time to read the information very carefully. The schedule for the week changes every day, so please make sure you know what you are supposed to do. A graphic of the schedule can be found below. If you are in doubt, then please ask!

Monday April 3rd: Full day of school!

All students enrolled in the following classes must report to school on Monday.

  • English 6
  • English 7
  • English 8
  • English 9
  • English 10
  • 10th graders enrolled in CCP Comp 1 and/or Comp 2

Tuesday April 4th: Full day of school

All students enrolled in the following classes must report to school on Tuesday:

  • Math 6
  • Math 7
  • Math 8
  • Algebra 1
  • Geometry

Wednesday April 5th: Full day of school

All students enrolled in the following classes must report to school on Wednesday, but students without a test this day should not report to school:

  • Social Studies 6
  • Science 8
  • 8th graders enrolled in Physical Science
  • American History

Thursday April 6th: Early release at noon

All students enrolled in the following classes must report to school on Thursday, but students without a test this day should not report to school:

  • Biology
  • Government
  • Students that took Government over the summer must report to school

Friday April 7th: First Friday – Full day of school NO early release
