Enrollment FAQ

How are students accepted into TSA

Applications will be collected from January 3 through January 31. Completed applications received during this time will be entered into a lottery. Openings will be filled in the order of lottery numbers drawn.

Where can I find an application

Applications and enrollment checklists can be downloaded online and are available in the Main Office during regular school hours.

Does my child need to interview or audition to attend TSA?

Interviews and auditions are still necessary for admission and will be scheduled individually based on lottery numbers drawn. These interviews are held solely to assist in the scheduling process and to determine appropriate skill levels. They do not determine entrance into TSA.

Is there an Open House?

TSA will host an Open House on January 21 at 10:00 am for informational purposes. Applications will be collected but will NOT be reviewed at this time.

Is there a waiting list?

The 2011-2012 waiting list is cleared on December 31 of each school year. All applicants on the waiting list MUST reapply for admission in January to be considered for the next school year. The new waiting list is established after all available grade levels are filled to capacity. Waiting list numbers are determined by lottery number.

Can my child shadow at TSA?

TSA allows students who have been assigned lottery numbers to schedule a shadow day if they desire. All shadows must be scheduled in advance and are held during First Fridays.

How many openings are there?

Current students are given the opportunity to re-enroll the following school year. Unfortunately we will not know the number of openings in each grade level until the re-enrollment process is completed.
